Granular materials and fine powders are used in the pharmaceutical industry. The bulk properties of such powders can be precisely determined, so that this can improve handling and processing.  Bulk and tapped density (BTD) methods are commonly used to for this purpose and these methods are described in the Ph. Eur. chapter 2.9.34.

They  are known to be very popular methods for determining how powders behave when they are loosely poured into a measuring cylinder. Here at Particle Analytical, this method is performed in accordance with the Ph. Eur. It is important that a highly reliable solutions are offered to our clients. Please contact us if you would like to know more about BTD and feel free to read our pdf that is on this page.
