Intrinsic Dissolution

Intrinsic dissolution helps studying the dissolution rate of active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs) under controlled conditions. Using this method, it is possible to mask effect of particle size and only register the effect of intrinsic properties of different solid-state forms on the dissolution rate.

At Particle Analytical, we conduct intrinsic dissolution testing using the Vankel Dissolution system combined with the Varian Cary 50 UV-VIS Spectrophotometer for detection. This equipment offers valuable data for early-stage formulation development, and solid-state form selection.
